Why ‘Humanity’? ………A Sonnet

Long live the wise man who with a shrilling voice once said
to his head hunched innocent domain,
let the quality be coined humanity and fled
but little did he know , he was madly insane.

Humanity be the quality of bestowing mercy.
Humanity be the act of selflessness,
but little did he know ,it would end up in a controversy,
as the mankind did serve the society with wickedness.

The men screeched and preached,hedonism.
They bombed the food, fed the elephant,
executing wars,genocide and barbarism.
They grew RACIST,RAPIST and SEXIST,reprehending every act of them, an accident.

I wanna question thee in sheer curiosity , why did you coin the word ‘humanity’.
Isn’t it something genuinly fishy,as every human lacked that quality.
